Tustin Area Republican Women Federated hosted the May 2, 2025 CFRW Region 8 & 9 meeting attended by CFRW Officers, Region 8 & 9 Club Presidents, Board Members and the Honorable California Assemblywoman Diane Dixon.
Discussion focused on the importance of and strategies for continued outreach and membership recruitment during the late spring and summer months. Clubs were also encouraged to emphasize leadership development, education & engagement of members, and getting out the vote in all elections with the ultimate goal of electing Republicans at all levels of government.
Tustin Area RWF was represented by: Sheryl Franke, Pamla Manazer, Lana Clay and Gail Rego.
On May 15th TARWF had a booth at the Tustin Sunset Market. Thousands of visitors attended the event. Representing TARWF at the booth were President Sheryl Franke, 3rd VP Fundraising Becky Grimes and Recording Secretary Lana Clay.
The Sunset Market takes place the third Thursday of each month May through September. TARWF will be there, please join us. We look forward to seeing you!
TARWF was present all three days with our patriotic booth featuring voter registration materials, candidate information, TUSD School Board Candidates and our members reaching out to the community.
September 17, 2024 was a meet the TUSD Board of Trustee candidates event.
Candidates present: Area 1 Joe Portera, Area 2 Kathy Copeland, Area 4 Mark McCallie. Maria Morgan, proprietor of Blondie's Style in Old Town Tustin hosted the event for TARWF and the candidates. The event featured lively discussion, fellowship, appetizers, beverages, shopping and fundraising.
Representing TARWF were TARWF President Sheryl Franke, 3rd VP Pamla Manazer. Also attending from TARWF were CFRW Membership Secretary Gail Rego and CFRW Sargent at Arms Judy Levine.
The Tustin Street Fair and Chili Cookoff took place on Sunday, June 1st, 2025, in Old Town Tustin. This annual event is reported to be the largest chili cookoff in the nation. Your Tustin Area RWF was there with our spectacular booth for the entire event.
We focused on Voter Registration, TARWF information distribution and handed out over 300 American Flags with our organization name and website address attached. Visitors to our booth were very positive and enthusiastic, often thanking us for our service and being present at the event.
Volunteering in the TARWF booth this year were Community Outreach Chair Becky Grimes, Hospitality Co-Chair Carmen Bays, members Sindy Fredrick & Carolyn Sato, and TARWF President Sheryl Franke.
TARWF was honored as Republican Party of Orange County's 2023 Republican Club of the Year! Our club works hard to support Republican candidates and causes, and we are so honored to be selected!
TARWF’s recent Candidate Forum was an excellent way for our membership to hear from candidates on the federal, state, county, and local level! The forum was an opportunity to collect ballots from attendees and ensure voter turnout!

The 43rd Biennial Convention of the California Federation of Republican Women took place October 13 & 14, 2023 in Rancho Cordova. The Convention was attended by over 125 Delegates and Guests. The TARWF delegation included: Sheryl Franke, Linda Barcelona, Pamla Manazer and Gail Rego.
